Trans-Siberian Orchestra - anyone going to see them live?

Post by Tenuvil »

Monday, December 13, Toyota Center, Houston.

11th row floor, center section. Going to be a great show!

Anyone else planning to see them this year?

I'd like to, but I have a scheduling conflict. Oh well, maybe next year.

Yeah. Roommate has one of their albums, Lost Christmas Eve or something, I can't recall exactly. It's pretty good music... mixing an orchestra with a metal aspect and playing holiday music. I can't say I didn't like it~

you betcha.

TSO is mainly members of Savatage with some theatrical talent mixed in for vocals and narration, and studio classical musicians for the orchestra. They split the band into two separate touring companies and might consider three touring companies next year. They sell out most everywhere they play and attract the most curious mix of audience you've ever seen, from unwashed metalheads to high society types in evening dress.

Don't knock it till you've seen it Voro :)
