Fire engulfs Prince George's County courthouse

UPPER MARLBORO, Maryland (AP) -- Fire broke out Wednesday at the Prince George's County courthouse, engulfing a large section of the ornate building.

About 100 firefighters were at the scene, fire and emergency medical service spokesman Chauncey Bowers said.

The fire broke out on the roof, in an older section of the building that is being renovated in this Washington suburb, he said.

No other details were immediately available.

Very important question: Were votes being stored or calculated here?

I dunno about ballots being stored there but according to http://www.goprincegeorgescounty.com/Go ... 20&s=&n=30, it wasn't a polling station.

PG County sucks for many reasons, except for the fact that it's democratic. Being one county north of it, I would know!
