Really honestly I had not completely made up my mind until I got the ballot in my hands. Kerry is an lying fuck who divorced the mother of his children to marry a billionaire, called soldiers babykillers, and cannot take a stand to save his life. Bush is not much better.

I am writing my Congressmen tonight, begging for a change in election laws that allow the American voters a choice of "Nullification" which would cause the two parties (and let's face it we only get 2 choices, which is bull ) to go back and make all new primaries happen.

Damn, it's nice living in a state where all it takes to get registered is having someone else vouch for you. Good thing I don't live in Ohio, where the pillars of community values, the Repubs, are challanging people at the doors! God, too funny. I'm so surprised someone who didn't have to wait 4 hours because of this jackass didn't beat him to a fucking pulp and send him to the hospital for a day. Spirit of Jim Crowe is alive and well...

I'd bet 100 bucks the black woman at the start of this thread screamed "Felecia" and not "Fellatio" - it just sounded different because she was pissed.

Bush / South Dakota

Currently FOX news shows Bush with 269 and Kerry with 221 Electoral votes... 270 needed to win... almost there...

I can't wait to see how many lawsuits the Democrats launch in the morning... I have a feeling that this election is going to make Florida 2000 look like a non-issue.

It wont be as bad as 2000. Bush has won the popular vote by 3 million and is over 50 percent at 51. Kerry would have to win 83 percent of the remaining uncounted ballots with part of those ballots being military absentee ballots which favor Bush.

Bush looks like he'll pick up Nevada and New mexico and possibly Wisconsin as well so it wont be that close after Ohio is awarded.

Bush won, the counting will remain calm and it will be official in 11 days.

Republicans retain control of the House and Senate as well as picking up some seats.

Huge win for the republicans tonight.

Bush/New York

First on line at our election district # machine, got to see them cut the seal. My husband and I brought our 18 year old daughter early to vote for her first time before she headed to work and school. I find it depressing that with all the talk of new and young voters that exit polls show only 17 % of young people voted, exactly the same as 4 years ago. Among her friends, who's families are from various political parties, she was the only one to actually register and then vote.

I hope that the two people who claim to have casted multiple, illegal ballots are only joking.

Kerry/Rhode Island

I am about as middle of the road as they come. I came from a household where my father was more republican, mother more democrat, and aside from the semi-annual joking about how they cancelled out each others votes out, I learned to appreciate both points of view. Bottom line in this election: I really didn't care for either of the major candidates, but I just couldn't vote for Bush, because I don't approve of the job he's done so far, which in and of itself is not damning, but what's worse is I don't get the sense he's the type to learn from his mistakes, and we may be doomed for more of the same.

Hey asshat.......the Democrats were challenging people as well. They allowed one of each. The 4 hour waits were not because of challenges...they were because of the enormous turnout.

I guess all those blockades and intimidation from the jackbooted thugs of the republican party were really stemming the tide of voters.

That's why having a twin voting as well works!
That's ok.....having a wife works well too. She canceled out that pesky Tehom...and her parents cancelled out any life partners they might have.

Changing your view based on public opinion polls = flipflopping. Far different than learning from mistakes.
