edit: If nothing else, I'll enjoy being able to have resonable conversations with old friends again whom relationships with have been strained recently because of the political climate.
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
I don't think the political climate will change any time soon, no matter which way it goes.

Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep.
yup, i'll be happy when the election is finally over, so that way we'll have 2 years of peace and protests untill the next election talks start, with about a 20 person democrat candidate wanna be's
The only good thing about this campaign is that it has made me turn the tv off. I am so fucking sick of the ads that I actually watch a hell of a lot less tv and actually get shit done around the house.
I kinda like the constant political banter, it brings a level of involvement to the masses (the ones that pay attention, aka 2% of Bush supporters and the rest of the country). It also brings entertainment value, I like to argue politics and I like to hear everyone's opinion... It's been fun alright.
I'm not looking forward to it. Elections bring the government to an impotent standstill for about 8 or 9 months going into it. I'm not looking forward to the reappearence of Ashcroft, Rummy, and all the people who "mysteriously" seem to have been laying low as the election approaches.
Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. - Douglas Adams
