I'm surprised the "interviewers" didn't try to sell me a Foreman Grill w/ the flag painted on it.

Nothing more painful than watching the police chief having to buckle and "endorse" the village idiot just to get the piddly raise Bloomberg will give to them only if he does so

Money talks! Shhh, there's an Iraqi lady on giving Bush the endorsement of the entire Iraqi people!

Firefighters have already endorsed Bush.

The speeches have been pretty dull so far. Thankfully, not many watch CSPAN. I guess the main event gets started at 7pm PST on CNN at least.

Is it Northrop Grumman or Lockhead who makes the F-23? (the new state of the art one)

anyway that got some nice "air" time if you were watching PBS during the Salute to the Troops thing. (Nice touch having the "Christ Tabernacle Choir" sing a medly of miltary anthems). But the people who really needed to see the shiny new plane were of course the assembled lobbyists and beltway insiders.

Northrop/McDonne Douglas made the YF-23, but it was the Boeing and Lockheed Martin F22 Raptor that was selected.
