Mini-series question...

There was a mini-series out within the last... I'd say 2 years, that flashed the white face that is shown in the Exorcist commercial.... does anyone remember what the name of the mini-series was? I've been wracking my brain and can't think of it.... I believe it was a Stephen King story.
