I bet they wouldn't feel that way if they had died, though they would lack that option at that point. That's kind of my point, while I don't mean to slight the anguish that being raped would put on someone, there is still the possibility of time healing the wounds and being able to move on. The finality of death allows for no possibility of healing.

"It's like these guys take pride in being ignorant."- Barack Obama
Why can't men have an opinion on rape? I personally would rather have my hands chopped off than be raped, and the only reason I don't choose death as an option is because I have a family that needs me to support them.
From what I read, I believe that it was consensual until Kobe started doing her up the butt. So Kobe probably made her ass bled and she didn't want it. Then she realized she could make money off suing Kobe, but before she realizes this she has sex with another guy. So basically shes a blood sucking whore bag.
Where does murdering a woman fall, is it worse than raping her?
Well what I tried to say in a stupid way was that I think crimes against women in general are worse than against men. And some women will indeed tell you that they would rather have died than live with the rape..
Hmm, if that were the case wouldnt it make sense for them to just commit suicide after being raped?
What really sucks about rape laws is its hard to tell in SOME cases if the woman was actually raped or if shes just a mean bitch trying to fuck over an ex or something like that
Unfortunately there are at least hundreds of innocent men serving jail sentences for rape becouse there ex-lover wanted some sick revenge
if it wasnt for assholes like that and the one most likely in the Kobe case, it would be much easyer to lay heavy punishments on rapist

I agree with Kelshara on this one. It really does not make any reasonable sense to feel more inclinded to be more angered and appalled over rape than murder, but nonetheless it is the way I feel.
A few of my female friends have been raped before. Death is always tragic, but the scarring that happens to those women brings me to tears everytime.
It is not logical or quantifiable, but I would not think twice before face-curbing a rapist (or worse).
