Short version: kid kills another kid in UK, parents blame copy of "Manhunt" found (supposedly) in attacker's bedroom. Turns out the game was in the victim's bedroom. Comedy gold - presumably the parents have "no further comment".
LeBlanc's assumed possession of Manhunt raised the questions as to how a 17-year-old was able to get hold of the game. The game carries an 18 certificate, so it is illegal to sell it to anyone under that age.

Oh nos!! My universal alibi for being a worthless prick!!

Yeah, saw it a few days ago in a danish newspaper. Its actually amazing what people will do to switch the blame to any readily available scapegoat. The most fun thing is that it were in the UK, NOT the US where throwing blame at someone else = big fat lawsuits
Would have written a longer reply, but i gotta go out and find someone to blame for my apartment not being clean when i got home

But it's so much more profitable to blame a lucrative business than it is to blame some kid, just because he happens to be a murderer. My kid's dead? Cha-ching!

For the record, no surprise they want to blame someone. Personally I think their blame should be on the kid that murdered theirs... That said, the fact that they blamed the game that THEIR KID was playing for getting him murdered is some sweet, sweet irony!
