A poll for us Conservatives

Post by Krimson Klaw »

Reading over the Al Gore thread raised an eyebrow for me. I want to know how those that consider themselves to be of the right feel about the past 4 years. I am pretty pissed at the state of our affairs due to the Bush administration, and will be doing my best to replace him with a Democrat until 2008, and depending on how those 4 years run, maybe till 2012. I can see a Democratic president being very successful at damage control on a global scale, enough to grant him another term.

/edit: another voting option added by popular request. -vv admin

Could you add an "I'm not a conservative" option so I can view the results?

Is something wrong with the "view the results" link below the poll options?

I voted the middle option but I wish you had a few more gradients.

Bush is 10 times the man Kerry pretends to be.... I'll be voting for him again.

Agree with Dregor - don't want to ruin the results of the poll by voting!

I don't see an option to add more poll questions, maybe because I voted. Just click the "view results" option.

Point out to our observant democrats that just below the "submit vote" button is a "view results" link. You can do this each time you wish to see the results and without voting.

After actually voting, this "view results" link magically disappears.

Edit the original post maybe? Just guessing.

Passing through. Not having to click view each time would be nice though.

I should have said that I do not see an option to add more poll options from within the "edit post" options.

I graded him with the middle option. He spends way too much to be a Republican, but he also also helped to spur the economy towards growth after a downturn caused by some serious problems early in his term. I think he handled it very well in that regard. With a Democrat in office and the WTC attacks and the Enron, WorldCom and all the other enormous hits at once, we would have been in serious trouble and definitely would not be seeing economic growth.

I think he has failed in certain regards to foreign affairs. He has done well in the Afghanistan campaign. Things are extremely quiet on that front...and that is very good. On the other hand, it may just be because of all the Iraq garbage that is keeping Afghanistan under the rug. I do think Saddam needed to be taken out and think we are doing the right thing. I think the timing could have been a lot better.

Most of Bush's real problems lie in the people he chose to surround himself with. If he eliminated Cheny, Rumsfeld, and the rest of that crew, I would support him for a second term. As it is, I don't trust his cronies....yet I don't trust Kerry either.

It's not an issue of people not being observant. It's an issue of not wanting to have to click into the thread, and then click into it again each time you want to view the results. An added option allows you to vote once saying that the question is not applicable to you, and then you save time and bandwidth in each subsequent visit to the thread.

I edited the conservative option in, I hope that's not a problem Krim. Sorry for continuing the derail.

That's gratitude! I noticed total VV hits were down on the other thread and was trying to help out! :)

Yantis will hear about this!
