So I have been playing this game for about an hour now.
So far I am loving it. The graphics are great. The control is easy to learn. It seems that it will have a lot of variety when it comes to being in battles. It's not just a button masher , you actually have to think strategicly.
It's neat how you can do special moves with your weapon by pushing Y and then selecting the ability. This slows down the battle enough for you to select a move but not stay at th screen for ages thinking of what to do.
You seem to be rewarded in this game if you are like me and talk to every single character you see and search every little crevice you can find.
For example
Anyhow, I'll add more as I play more of this game. So far is seems very promising

Picked this up yesterday as well. Put ~5 hrs into it last night. I am to the spot where I have 4 PCs in my party now. I am still getting the hang of combat with four PCs. But I am having fun with it as well.
The backstory seems pretty well fleshed out. Especially if you pay the 10 florins to watch the puppet show in the castle.

I played the Sudeki demo on the Latest XBox Magazine DVD. I like how combat goes into "matrix" time when you are deciding what to do but doesn't completely stop.
I actually got a headache playing this game. I don't like the camera views but I had also had a few drinks so that may have played a part in the motion sickness.
It's posted on the newsgroups along with a pdf manual and walk through. I may download it and try it out again. It's a step in the right direction for X-Box to compete with FFX type PS2 games but isn't polished and can use some work. I can't give it an honest score until I read the manual so I can try out combat knowing all of my options.
