NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Once the fried dough embodiment of hot and fresh, Krispy Kreme has transformed its original glazed doughnut into a new frozen beverage for summer.

I am honestly not sure weather to be happy or sick over this.

The Krispy Kreme hype has faded and now the company has shareholders to keep happy. Drinkable donuts is phase one of the collapse as they try to keep their revenue up.

Sell sell sell.

Nice chart!

You do realize there was a stock split on that chart... 2:1

in the top right corner there is a key with a symbol to notate a split. That symbol is not on that chart anywhere. Besides, were it a split, it could only be a 3:2, because from 30 to 20 is not 2:1.

edit. Winnow ninja edited.

KKD split twice in 2001. Both were 2:1 splits. So, even though the stock is only $9 above the IPO, you now have FOUR times as many shares.

So the 100 shares you bought for $1000 in 2000 have turned into 400 shares worth $7600 combined. You people are finanshial geniouses.

bah! I screwed up my posts. Stick with my original comment. Over the past year, KKD suxors.

You are correct Masteen. This stock should have been dumped awhile ago though.

You can only do so much with donuts. The stock was way overvalued and liquid donuts isn't going to save it.

Correct. If you were in from IPO, and out in March of this year, you would have almost doubled your profits. Which I think a lot of people did.
