Yeah really. Out of all the fundies, Adex is the one I don't feel any real distaste for, but he needs to consolidate all of his "Link to random news source that can be discredited in 5 seconds by anyone with a web browser and room tempurature IQ" threads. The only one that has been any good is the one on the AQ manifesto, which impressed me with how well planned their terror efforts are.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

Apparently even two word responses are now too difficult for Cart and he now has to resort to pictures to communicate.

not to mention that picture is directly linked into the thread, and is probably NWS for many people...so someone is just waiting to get in trouble over it.

Thanks Cart!

I don't see what the big deal is. Occasionally I see something interesting and post it with just a link or a link and a short quote. As long as it isn't overdone, is it really that big of a deal?

I'm with Chmee. As long as it is something interesting I won't mind having it brought up for discussion. A great discussion or debate can start with just a few words.

I don't care so much as long as it's not on a website you have to register for to view. But, I'd really prefer some paraphrasing or pasting the entire article.

If the site requires a registration it is only fair to paste the applicable section.
