I said it months ago, and I will say it again, you fuck with the CIA and your head will roll. With the public attention span the way it is, I'd say we are 6-7 weeks away from the big story. Dubya, get ready.

i havent read the links, but i know you are writing about "Imperial Hubris".
The CIA could have totally squashed this book. Senior people at the CIA let this get published, and they had to have an agenda. THis is the CIA we are talking about, not the ACLU. What i mean by that is, nobody at the CIA can publish a brownie recipe without it getting cleared.
the chickens are coming home to roost.
not only is the CIA letting this guy publish the book, they are letting him do publicity for the book. It is not a secret who the guy is (i dont remember his name), because he was the guy in charge of monitoring Bin Laden for part of the 90s.
at any rate speculation from one attorney i saw interviewed (who has represented CIA agents in publication issues in the past) speculates that it is representative of the overall sentiment at the CIA.

Ahh the two links are to different issues...one is Hubris the other it Bush being questioned re the outing of errrm I've forgotten her name...:/Dregor Thule wrote:And you talked about the book... where?
At least read the links before trying to whip out your digital cock and claiming it's bigger.
I checked the one link and assumed both were about the same issue...earlier which confused me as to why people were talking about hubris on this thread...
