Any of you testers participate in the pvp war?

Wondering if any of you who are in beta got to participate in this event. Just want to know if this was a well controlled GM event with certain goals, or was it total chaos...etc? So if you've heard anything about it or experienced it first hand, what were your impressions?

I missed it, but someone I know was there from the get-go. He had a fucking blast....hers what he had to say:

Portal and I started a couple of UD Rogues last night with the express purpose of terrorizing the other side. As we leveled we were instructed to take a set of pumpkins to someone waiting for us in Brill. As we were headed on the road to Brill a shout rang through the air, "Brill is under attack! All available warm and cold bodies rally to Brill!" Both Portal and I got so excited our hearts almost started up again =) We ran, about as fast as before, but this time with a blood-lust for carnage... and the hopes of killing a few PCs. When we got to Brill and our little glowing undead eyes realized the magnitude that one cry for assistance got. There were people EVERYWHERE! Levels ranging from 4 to 18, all wanting a piece of the action.

Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. About 3 groups of mid teens crested the hit outside of Brill... what happened after that was a work of pure pleasure. A call went out for a charge, and we all broke into a demonic sprint. Our mod of death reached the temporarily brave humans, dwarves, gnomes, and night elves... It was like a crashing wave that pounced upon a helpless shoreline. Swarms of horde allied swords and shields clashed... blood flew, spirits were crushed, limbs were lost... One brave Paladin tried to rush the front line. The momentum he produced running to us was enough to push through the line about 3 bodies deep... the rest of the energy he build up running in was slowly dissipated as his warm corpse dropped to the ground and slid back another 3 bodies deep. They didn't even stand a chance.


I have a level 8 rogue on PvP...once i get a bit higher, I'm headed out looking for some shit![/quote]
