heh I remember that one, haven't seen it since 80's though, good luck sir

there are not many movies or series that survive the test of time, I was dissapointed when I watched The thorn birds (or whatever's the name) last year

They show Alan Quartermain movie with RIchard Chamberlain on cable from time to time, that too lost its adventurous appeal to me after all the years, young Sharon Stone wasn't that pretty either

Never saw the TV series though I bought the DVD for my step-dad just this past Christmas. Maybe I'll borrow it from him sometime. The book though was one of the best I have ever read. After reaching page 1200+ I wished it would have kept on going.

Shogun ties in with our pee discussion on the other thread. Watch for the scene where John Blackthorne gets peed on! He doesn't seem to like it though.
