After reading that article, NCsoft seems to have their act together with some nice things in the works.

They really look like they're going for niche markets, rather than looking for the Holy Grail that will please everybody at once. Seems like a good business strategy.

Hearing about that expansion is what made me apply for the beta of this game hehe.

I'm travelling right now, so no time for a big update, but just as a quickie from a glance at the boards - City of Villains will have PvP but it will NOT force PvP on everyone as a free-for-all. If you want to be a hero who never once sees a player villain, that's perfectly possible. Jack will probably have some more details later.
