Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
I'm partial to solb bats and bugs from 44ish to lvl 52 or so, it starts to slow down then. I did it solo with a very well equipped monk with no problems at all, with a lesser equipped mage it was a little rough(mostly because of other people running mobs around) till 49 spells but still worked fine, I'd imagine a good bst wouldn't have any trouble.
At that level I liked velks for my BL - took him to early 50's there.
It's especially good if you have a lvl 65 puller to pull singles, but you should be able to get 2 or less in most spots, and a solo Bl should be able to take 2 of them at a time.
I seem to remember Dulak being a pain to get to.. need ~2 invis potions to even get to the docks from Gunthak, but I might go and check it out.
Thanks for the tips.

Solb Bats and Bugs are pretty good XP and coin for a solo BST from 45 to 53. With far inferior gear to yours I was able to hold Stone spider room solo just by playing pet cleric at around 47 or so. It also has the advantage of being convenient to get to. City of Mist isn't bad, either, but at 45+ your basically stuck with the Gazeebo area which a lot of people like. Howling stones is good too, but its remote and can suck if you die.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.

How did you handle the runners tho?
I wrote off Sol B a long, long time ago as a zone that I will never enter again (even on Ak, barring Giant expeditions) due to the damn things running around the place.

Normally, I would save a nuke for fleeing bats. Lava Beetles never run. Once you are tough enough to hold stone spider, you sit in the back wall where the ramp to fire giants leads up to. LDCs that run will run there first, then back out across the entire room giving you tons of time to finnish them off.

If you are just looking to fly through levels...SolB or PoJ. If you have time to kill and like to walk away to get a drink and use the pisser, then I reccomend the Skellys at the "lost valley" in DL. Also, Dryads in JP are easy and abundant.
Mainly I'm looking for a quick run hrough to the level 49 pet, because I'm utterly sick of the 39 one. I spent time in the OOT yesterday, averaging around 3% a kill on the seafuries, and leveled to 47. Didn't have a chance to check what exp they toss off at 47 tho.
I guess I'll give Sol B a chance later tonight tho, after I secure a buffer..

As it is I've found it's not only faster but also more mana efficent in the OOT to pull with Drowsy, sick the pet, then get in and tank the crap straight up (both with and without KEI / Virt) and pray for Vengance to proc off.
Getting this fugly suspicion I'll be there until 49.

Ok, did 46 in the OOT. Half of 47 in OOT, other half in Ogguk (just damn) in about an hour and a half to two hours. Pounded out 48 in a 5hr session in echo with a cleric friend keeping me company (thanks bud!). now 49, tried the Dryads in JP, hard time actually finding where they spawn.. they go down hella quick and are good exp, but.. spending up to 10 min at a time trying to find one to kill.
Probably heading to Dulak now to let the 49 pet work its loveable magic.

They were on, but it was raining. Will give it another shot.
