I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

I disagree. If it is a joke I think it is brilliant. Look at how many of you are super pissed off. There isn't a single thing I can think of that would have pissed the collective group up more than this. And, jokes that make people mad are the best jokes there are, especially since none of you are getting hurt in any way by it really.
I think a lot of people got hurt by this joke, should it be a joke.
Lots of people trusted xou and pyr to run these boards and I am sure others would have been more then willing to step up and do it (as we see now).
I believe this is a joke and so I do not care really, but selling to IGN (note: Yantis merged with them and should no longer be doing this stuff) means that we are back under a moderated rule. No more freedom of speech, something that made us leave our last board.
This message board was run by Xou and was kept alive through donations. This is not something that should be able to be sold. They are the caretakers but many people here donate to keep it up. There is no real rights to sell this and it will be known as such when people start to leave. If this was real, I think Xou would/should have explained situations to us before selling. Stock options prs.
This is truly a bad joke and it might be best of Xou did sell it to IGN because I believe lots of people have lost faith in him now.
But in the event that I am wrong, so much for friendships eh?

my loss of trust from this joke can only be regained by an immediate deposit of 3,000,000,000 vv's into my account ASAP.

We're a bunch of whores anyway. Only not for money. Because that would be wrong. We work on teh barter system!
"There is at least as much need to curb the cruel greed and arrogance of part of the world of capital, to curb the cruel greed and violence of part of the world of labor, as to check a cruel and unhealthy militarism in international relationships." -Theodore Roosevelt
