Need help!!

Post by Coatlicue [KoE] »

I'm so frustrated it's not even funny anymore :(

At work, we use Macs, and all my applications and spreadsheets I use Appleworks (I friggin hate it!! :x ).. As an administrative secretary, it's cruical I have this program, as I am the one that generates all the office reports and such.

Anyway, last friday, we had a power failure, and it was out for about 2 or 3 hours or so. Ever since then, working on my computer has been a nightmare, but i've been able to fix almost all problems except this one.

Everytime I create a new doc or spreadsheet or whatever, in Appleworks, and save it, it becomes corrupt. I only found out yesterday when i was trying to open a report I made on monday. I can open documents that were created before last friday, but nothing created after. After the power failure, most documents's dates reverted back to 1/1/04. The weird thing is, I can save new documents on my desktop and they are not corrupt, but when I try to save it on our shared file server (where we're supposed to save), it becomes corrupt. No one else has this problem but me.

I can't find anything on the apple support page on this, and all those reports and spreadsheets I had worked on are all lost.

Anyone have a clue on what to do??
