Nvidia driver crashing windows problem...

Had anyone experiened a problem with Nvidia's drivers crashing windows? I had it happen while in a full 3d game, and I had it happen while the computer was on the desktop idling. I do not have any powersave features enabled, so it's not that, and uninstalling their driver to go with the nvidia driver from windowsupdate.microsoft.com seems to "fix" the problem, but I lose all of the Nvidia tools/support drivers.

Anyone know of a fix?

Never ever ever had any problems with Nvidia's drivers that weren't beta. What version are you running? Trying going to the Windows update and get the latest Win certified (WQRL or whatever it is...) and try that.

Never any problems here, and I just ignore the "updated" drivers from the windows update site.
