You ever get movies that you can't fast forward or jump ahead on? Is there a way around that? I have a .asf file that is about an hour long and I don't want to sit through the whole thing.

But of course! Actually I like the plots but I hate having to watch the first part over and over to advance in the movie.

Don't use media player 9... "open with" mplayer2.exe (I think it is) and you can jump around (albeit with long pauses as it calculates the run of frames... and generally poor performance)

Or convert it to .mpg and put up w/ the giant file..
