Dual Monitor - help

using GeForce4 Ti4400, got both monitors plugged into the card via the adapter for the 2nd monitor..

black screen on second monitor

When i go into display properties and then settings, i see no "extend my viewing desktop" or anything like that,

any help?

I thought you needed 2 vid cards to do dual monitor extended desktop stuff?

Nah, i have the geforce4 Ti4400.. it supports 2 monitors, it's actually got 2 ports for the monitors on the actual back of the card...

anyways, I fixed it by swapping out my GF's monitor into the one that wasn't working...

so yeah hehe, i thought it was gonna be great for EQ, but it lags the fuck out of me, i loaded up 2 instances and couldn't even move....

only thing i can see it worth using, is like major web browsing, or everyday shit... but not eq =(

One instance of EQ spread across the two monitors with the stat/chat/inventory windows either all across the bottom or on one screen versus the other would be quite nice. Give you a decent view of the envioronment without 30 different "windows" of some sort or other crowding the screen.

2 vid cards would be better to try to have 2 instances of EQ going.

overall configuration still may be difficult and unwieldy

I don't think you could stretch EQ to be like that correct? That totally made me think of trying that out, but.... I dunno... that sounds cool.
