Arghhh... I wish we had venues like that stateside. The best we have in my area is a place called the Quest which has local dj's opening for a headliner on the weekends (last weekend I went and they had DJ Irene). Things don't seem so bad until you see places like this with world class resident dj's spinning nightly at places like Cafe Del Mar, Ministry of Sound, and Gatecrasher... that's when you really realize how far behind the scene is here.

I've never been to a rave nor had the desire until seeing that video. Kwon, you are my hero from now until forever for posting that. I'm so going to audio rip it and put it on a CD to listen to on the way to work. I've been yearning for a good trance CD for SOOOOO long. Haven't heard one like that in years. My friend who got me into trance moved to jolly ol' England.

I should try to find some of the trance tracks that I mixed up a few years back in Ejay and post them sometime if anyone's interested.

Pah, if I can find the DVD of Groove. Good movie based on the rave seen in SF Cali. Has Digweed and some other DJs making cameos in it, good music regardless (or irregardless) of the storyline (which is not that bad either).
