Epic completed. Even though it was completed without the help of anyone on the board, thanks for the offers. ;)

Wow, thanks for the replies.

I had already written your name down, Mort, but I had doubts that you still had the items. Having the complete Power of Fire can be handy, but I guess I need the other ones first. ;) Depending on how the next couple days in-game go, I may just need the torch.

I am going on vacation this weekend, but will be back in game on Monday night. I will be sure to look for both of you.

The CoM torch has been rotting on my char's bank for a year now. You can have it no cost.

Can anyone MQ it? My character's an enchanter so it shouldn't be too difficult getting to the right faction if needed.

that is the one you MQ to the dude in the crater in Burning Woods right?

enchanter should be able to MQ no problem. Charming is often a very safe way to MQ stuff (well it used to be, was it nerfed??) because faction becomes meaningless.

Charming was nerfed to hand in items. I tried charming the golem at the entrance to the dragon city to turn in giant hats, but it didn't work. That was more than a year ago though, it may have been changed back.

The torch goes to Jennus Lyklobar in Skyfire. The skeleton in the Burning Woods crater drops the Dirt of Underfoot for a subquest.

Vetiria, thanks for the offer. I assume this is also your character's name?

I've used charm to do a turn in within the last year, so they must have changed it back. Charmed pets have amiable faction, so when you tried it it might have failed if you needed higher than amiable. I also have a water staff rotting in my bank you can have, if someone hasn't offered one already.

Bojangles, thanks for the offer. However, I just completed the Power of Water quest this evening. I also finished the Power of Earth.

I overlooked the fact that I am missing the Burning Embers from Burning Woods, so I am still one item away from being able to take that torch off of Vetiria's hands. :)

This is the character's name, but we'll have to set something up here because I don't log on. PM me and let me know when you want to do the MQ and I'll try to be on.

Umm, I hate to say this, but...

It looks like I got rid of the torch a while ago. I could have sworn I still had it in my bank. I'm so sorry to get your hopes up :\
