I would like to get upset about it, but I just can't.

I was watching that and something struck me, Tobey Maguire as Peter has that same visual quality that Christopher Reeve had when he played Clark Kent. They both pull of that "Don't look at me, I'm just a dork" look that works so well with that type of character.

That aside, I'm stoked. The Doc Ock effects are awesome. Just...wow

I'm not too thrilled on them picking Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, but other than that, can't wait to see it.

I'm not sure, from a physical aspect, I think he is a bit too tall and skinny.

What type of accent is Oct supposed to have? The actor was in Chocolat so he may have one just waiting to be released in a line that says more

I think this movie will be damn solid so long as the villian, a near unknown, isn't completely over the top to compensate. Not that it matters too much, it's not as if Dafoe was really that good, it was the Peter Parker background that was. And Toby was the perfect casting for that role

I thought it was German, or something. Mind you its been ages since I saw the Doc in spiderman, so I could be wrong.
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

The one major thing that I didn't like about Doc Oct is that in the comics he was actually shown as being pretty chubby most of the time.
