Any beta testers want to give the rest of us a rundown?
Many thanks.

Seconded please. My brother was in the beta for a while but he said he got bored with it after a week. I have to say it didn't seem that interesting after they annihalated the original plans for it. I personally can't see being a huge fearsome dragon and not be able to PvP people.
Oh, and your poet Eliot had it all wrong:
THIS is the way the world ends.

I got bored after three wipes.
Started as a Dragon. As Hatchlings, Dragons move abit slow.
Problem with the game was that it was very hard for pure casters to solo, ice, root and snare didnt last a long time, so you had to get some Warrior lvls to get better hp and armor to be able to solo.
So, first getting some good hp and defence, then you could switch back to Mage or Druid or spiritist or what you fancied, now with the hp of your warrior lvl.
The Graphicsengine wasn't too good either. It was pretty but slow.
Combat wasnt too much fun to me either. We mostly had maggots, zombies and small pigs to fight.
Some ventured abit and found golems of different kinds.

From the time I spent on the game, it is a crafters game. If you like trade skills, you will like this game.
Combat was way too repetative. It never changed enough. It just goes from something that takes 5 hits to kill, and next level is 7 hits to kill, next level is 10 hits to kill...very very boring combat.
Chat box was not as easy as other games. I found it cumbersome and a lot of the time I was typing things that would just come out as a /say because they did not have the macros programmed into the code. Annoying.
The bazaar system was ok. You consign things to be sold by an NPC. People buy it, then it is deposited into your account (like when you log in, *cha ching*, money would appear). The only problem is, you can only consign 5 things at a time. With the butt hurting prices you get for straight selling things to an NPC, they should atleast allow you 10 items at a time. Items dropped at fairly high rates in beta, so you always had shit clogging up your inventory.
The game also required a very good PC for it to be playable at high resolutions. I'm fairly sure this was just because it was beta, and not a complete product. It did get noticebly better each time they patched.

hrmmmm, this game eh?
Well, first off, if you weren't in beta you didn't miss much. That, however, says it all about what you can expect with release. The game is split up into two parts. Short end of it, crafting is very well done and excellent. Combat is far from it, though the no mana thing was pretty cool.
