Site for discount pinball machines?

Post by Canelek »

I have checked EBay, but really haven't done any thorough searching... I have always loved pinball games and would like to buy a nice machine eventually. Any really good sites with purchase information?

Some great pinball titles:

Terminator 2
Addams Family
Twilight Zone
Funhouse
MEDIEVAL MADNESS
Indiana Jones
etc....

It would seem logical to own one...keep it in fair shape, sell it when it becomes boring, get a different one...

All those are fairly popular. Not sure you'd be able to find one for under $2000. Even $3000 may be a low estimate. Well, on Twilight Zone and Addams Family for sure but I'm sure the others are up there as well.

Don't forget shipping. It's not cheap to send those!

In the meantime, you could get Visual Pinball/VPinMame and play all those!

ebay is really your best bet for nationwide sales. the market for pinball is so small now that I don't think there are really any distributors of used machines around. we just bought a medieval madness table from ebay for the rec room in the house were building, and speaking to the guy on the phone he said that practically every arcade operator does their busines on ebay.

ps. medieval madness fucking rocks.

I've played the Visual Pinball version a lot. :P

How much did it run? I'm a bit leary of buying something like that on ebay.

(Edit.. I see one for $4000 on ebay. A little higher than I expected but not surprising.)
