Hold Fucking Everything...

Post by Truant »

I just discovered that not only was Thief 3 in development, but it's due out very soon.

The Thief series is easily my second favorite game series ever created...I still install and replay 1 and 2 from time to time.

edit, yeah I know there's a sticky for shit like this, but I have a tendency to be dramatic...so like in five minutes when everyone has read this and noone gives a damn...delete it or something ;)

This game will be the second coming of whatever is better than everything ever.

(Assuming it's done well, with a brand new badass engine)

How's that for keeping the drama level high?

(sitting here installing FFXI so... trolling the boards)
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

Thief and Thief 2 are two of my favorite games ever. It's a shame that LG isn't around to continue the series but I have read that Spector hired a LOT of the old LG guys to make part 3. I'm pretty excited.

Garrett is probably the coolest video game protagonist ever.

Thief 3 is due to be released for both the Xbox and the PC in Q1 of 2004.

It's being developed by Ion Storm, and published by Eidos. :)

There are a LOT of good games coming out. This is certainly one to watch. :)

I always enjoyed picking up the bad guys on the rooftops, carrying them over my shoulders, and dropping them off the roof. Couple guys were watching me play and busted up laughing.

The sound they made was priceless ;)

I had a look at the graphics a while back, kinda reminded me of Might and Magic.

Big thief fan, not too big a fan on zombies tho, when ur wielding a rocket launcher they're okay, with a sword that does fuck all. Not so good.
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.
