How to Burn Copy Writed CD's?

Post by Ceffin »

I heard there was a way around the copy write protection thing - but that you needed to do it before you put it on your computer.. Something about shift??

When I put the CD in a regular cd player - will it install its anti-copy thing or only in a computer? Its something with autostart if i remember correctly..

Reason is - I'd like to make a copy of the Outkast CD for my girlfriend who spent OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of money on it for my bday among other things . Any help would be appreciated

There's at least two threads about that. One in this forum. One in Current Events

Either disable auto-run for your CD-Rom, or hold down shift when you close the CD-Rom tray. You have to make sure to hold shift until your drive stops trying to read the CD if you didn't disable auto-run.
