C&C Generals -Zero Hour-

Post by Lor »

Simply put, WOW!!! I'm touching myself.

I had trouble loading the game at first, I kept getting errors... then I read the instructions, I had to close all apps except for systray and explore, after that it went no problemo, this is one hellofa expansion and I Highly recommend it if you liked Generals.

What pisses me off bigtime is the fact that I installed it on two systems at home so my son and I could LAN together, but when I load the second system it tells us that the serial key is already in use....IN A LAN GAME. I am not going to go buy another copy just for LAN gaming. I could have been a cock and pirated the game and played it for free and this is the thanks I get.

You can get a serial for LAN purposes fairly easy on the net. Morally justified!

Intuit has acknowledged that they were assmasters about multiple local installed copies of software. Westwood should take note!

USA Laser General = Massive Sploitability

I like Generals. I like Zero Hour more. So many nuances to learn for each specialized general.

I bought it and did this same tactic lastnight.... keeps giving me a fucking error (some synch error and says I should put my oppenent on ignore) like we have cracks/hacks or something, not sure. This happened and the end of General's gaming frenzy about 3 months ago, I was hoping this new expansion would fix it but alas.....same shit, different game.

I cant find anything about this error online either, so FUCK YOU WESTWOOD/EA! I will beat the campaigns and burn your fucking disk.

P.S. I changed NOTHING when we first started getting this error so It's not a router/firewall problem or anything. We played fine for 3-4 months, then poof...
