Anyone watching this show?
I can't beleive the scamjob they're doing to this poor fuck.

I'm going to laugh really, really hard if it turns out that the Schmoe is a plant by another producer who's been told to follow along exactly to screw with the actors. =p

I saw the first couple episodes and meant to post, but I forgot. It is really a great idea, some of the reality shows are so ridiculous, it was only a matter of time before they did something like this. I found myself laughing when they had the contest with the porn star and at several other points.

What's happened in the last week or two, anything really good?

I catch this on the monday night reruns, so I may be a bit behind.
The second episode was so so, didn't notice anything major. They've gotten rid of Ed tho, which lead to Matt having an emotional breakdown ad the rest of the cast scrambling to figure out what to do to keep him from leaving the show.

Like 10 people move into a house and are competing for $100,000 ala "Big Brother" or something along those lines. Only, what Joe Schmoe (Matt Something-or-other) doesn't know is, the other 9 people are actors and meet with producers every day to decide where the story is going to go and who is going to win what event and who they are going to vote off. He thinks it's real, they're all fucking with him.

This show is great. When Matt leveled Dr. Pat in the sumo contest and she had to be hospotalized, I was fucking crying!

I caught the marathon today and it was absolutely brilliant. I couldn't stop laughing. I love how well done it is... My boyfriend (who didn't know what the premise of the show was) didn't catch on that it wasn't really a reality show for a while. The guy (Matt) always has this smirk on his face which leads me to believe that he knows more than we think he does however.

they should just make reality shows like the japanese and put some poor shitfucker in a glass box and shock him with an electric cattleprod until he craps himself for our entertainment.

This show reminded me of something that I witnessed when I was younger.

When I was in school, there was this bunch of "cool kids" that had their giggles pretending to be the friend of some of the mentally handicapped kids in Special Ed. classes in the school and make then do all sorts of stupid shit.

The "star" of that show has the same exact look on his face at the shit that goes on around him in that place.

I found it disgusting then, and I find it disgusting now.

Yeah... except that Joe Schmoe isn't a special ed student and the actors aren't the kids at the cool table pretending to be his friends. He's a grown man who signed up to be on a reality tv show. Anyone who has any idea of what happens on these shows knows that by being on one, you're begging to be ridiculed or embarrassed.

Fucking brilliant idea. I'll have to look for this one going forward. The whole jerking around thing was the reason Joe Millionaire was so successful. People find great entertainment out of making greedy people look stupid.

Well, the brilliance of the show is that the guy really isnt greedy at all. He is there cause he had nothing better to do...he is actually a really nice guy. He won a 7 day trip to Utah for skiing or some shit and gave it to another "constestent" because he injured her earlier in the day during a game. He doesnt like drama, cheers everyone else on when they are doing well and supports them when they are "struggling"...he is the nice guy that always gets shit on I think...and this is no exception. Good show :)
