There are several board 'themes' available to be used. The default one you get is the one I created to match the front page of the website. There are about six others that I downloaded and added in also, in case you don't care for the color set up of this one. Feel free to check em out and use them.
Also, if you know of any other good ones (for phpBB) that you would like added, let me know or send them to me and I'll add them to the site.

We use phpbb2 on our board also. There are some pretty good modifications at http://www.phpbbhacks.com. Some are admin type stuff to make administering easier.
You probably know about that site though.
Also, you can add some pretty neat emoticons. Check it out at http://www.fluffybunnies.org
edit because z and x are too close together, like the delete/edit/ban button on vn.
