Looking for: Raspberry Frosting Recipe
I'm baking a chocolate cake for a friend and they have asked if I could put some kind of raspberry frosting on it. Anyone have a recipe?

Raspberry Buttercream Frosting:
1 cup Butter (unsalted)
3 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon Milk
1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
1. Cream softened (room temperature) butter with a hand mixer until fluffy.
2. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk - blend together.
3. Add raspberry jam and blend.
(Can also use Chambord liquor if you want something a bit on the more exciting side - may need to adjust powdered sugar for consistency)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Basically you can add raspberry jam, raspberry extract, raspberry syrup, chambord, etc. to any of your favorite frosting recipes. If you have a recipe that calls for corn syrup, use raspberry syrup or chambord instead. For any recipe you add jam into, IMO it takes about an additional half cup or so of powdered sugar to keep the frosting consistency where it should be.
