Spammers getting trixy

So I'm just surfin' me up some porn and what not; I close my browser, hwao theres like 15 new desktop icons and a gay little box in the corner of my desktop which I promptly ctrl-alt-del'd. I re-open my browser and have like 20 new bookmarks and my homepage was changed to the porn yellowpages! All from clicking and loading (seemingly) normal webpages and not installing anything. This was using Avant Browser also... beware.

Spybot Search & Destroy nuked it good however!

are you sure you don't have snap to enabled in mouse options? you might have said yes to an activex installation so fast you hardly saw it.

I get the same prob every once in a while , its NOT active X. Its a couple of the pron sites , they do this. I have No clue what the urls are or I would post them. Its a real F'ing annoyance but hey ya gotta see the PRON every once in a while. the way I get rid of the shit is old school.
empty all temp files
empty all cookies
run adaware
delete all the bookmarks manually
remove dialer program via ad/remove progs
re-run adaware
Seems fixed

Browser hijackers.

Get Lavasoft's Ad-Aware software. The paid version can monitor your traffic to keep them from being installed.
