I rented this on DVD last night. What a waste of time and money. It was a terrible movie. It was too dark, everyone spoke too softely, and the whole concept has been played to death. The corney "thank yous" that the African woman spoke at the end were contrived and over the top. The woman they were trying to save always had lipstick and make-up on. They took actual SEAL tactics and added so much Hollywood that it made everything totally unrealistic. The first hour of the movie was sheer torture to watch, with monotone/deadpan dialogue, and no character development at all. Once it gets going, it rushes to an ending that will leave you rolling your eyes. The "bad guys" were seriously underdeveloped. They said perhaps 4 or 5 lines in the whole film and they were basically political assasins.
I give it a 4 out of 10. Very shallow movie.

If there had been any amount of realism to the movie, when they initially acquired their target, had she resisted extraction, they would have bound and gagged her and carried her to the extraction point. There would have been no discussion, and the SEALs would never have put themselves into the utterly ridiculous position they were in. SEALs aren't paid to have a conscience. They're paid to accomplish difficult missions. Everything that happened after they made the decision to stray from the outlined mission was garbage.
There was so much total bullshit in this movie that it outweighed any happy message they were trying to get across. It's a shame they fucked it up so badly because the actual combat sequences were reasonably well done.

It was awful. I think I saw a preview I forget where, but the opening looked like "Tears of the Sun 2" and we were all like "OMG its going to be horrid" then thankfully, it turned out be another movie.

I thought it was alright. I didn't give it all that much minute detail observation that others did though. I like movies that deal with small units to see who survives at the end. Kind of like the Aliens movies somewhat.
Granted that this movie had very little realism but so what. If I wanted total realism I'd join the Navy and attempt to become a SEAL. It's just a movie that is meant to entertain. Not everyone will be entertained but there were enough that it made money.
Luckily for me I had discovered Bit Torrent.
