New BT CD

Post by Adelrune Argenti »

I don't know how many of you are interested in BT, however he has placed his latest CD, released just yesterday complete as a Windows Media Stream. If you are interested, check it out at http://www.briantranseau.com/index2.html

I have listened to the whole CD abour 5 times since yesterday. Gonna go pick it up when I get a chance to swing by my favorite CD store.

BT is Brian Transeau. He is regarded by many to be the pioneer of the Trance sound because of his use of epic and classically inspired music. He was a musical prodigy from a very early age. You can find him doing remixes for lots of artists nowadays as well as doing film scoring work. However, he still likes to get out and do some DJ sets as well. His latest CD has him singing more and branching into some different sounds.

Give it a try.

His new cd is, in a word, different. It's a bit more on the pop side than his previous work, but it isn't bad. A DJ friend of mine met BT in Texas a few months ago and got a pre-release copy of Somnambulist which imho, is soooooo much better than the final version on the CD that it causes me great pain everytime the track comes up now! #-o
