The actual waxing doesn't hurt, Millie. What hurts is putting hot honey on your skin. Some people don't mind using cold wax, but the hot honey mixture (I assume this is what you call Brazilian wax) is much more hygienic.

Being from Brazil, I can assure you the maintenance is neither frequent nor costly.
