Which, until now count FF13 and MGS4. Not worth a 500-600$ peice of machinery.
Dude... A BLU-RAY player! Under $1000! Hellloooo?
There's an HD-DVD player addon coming out for the 360 that's gonna be less when bought with a new 360 than the PS3. Argument voided.
The HDD was, I agree with Kooky, a bonehead move. The smart thing would've been to put in a bigger HDD in the Premium and a 20GB one in the core.
As for online play, Sony didn't release a price for their online system. That doesn't mean there won't be a price to use it.

The article wrote:The company plans to have basic services such as account management, ranking systems, voice rankings and more as their way of building a virtual society for PS3 owners. He goes on to say that all of these aspects are part of the basic service that you could expect for the PS3, and because they're a basic service, they will be provided free of charge.
The final topic of discussion was micro-transactions. Hirai explained that a variety of payment systems will be possible, and gamers can also buy PlayStation cards for their kids or as a gift in stores so they don't have to sign up for anything.
Sounds like Sony is pretty much going to run an online service that identical to XBox Live(less the tight integration to Windows Vista with Live Anywhere or the ability to play with the owners of the PC versions of games).
It's all going to be about exclusives again. MS is managing to get some of thse exclusive Sony contracts loosened (see GTA4). All they need to do now is crack Square/Enix and they will cement the foothold they need in Japan. Having a developer like Mistwalker Studios, putting out 360 exclusives like Blue Dragon and Lost Oddessy will certainly help their cause as well.
The war isn't even started yet. We should start getting a good picture of the battleground around the 2007 holiday season. I believe developers that have long been faithful to Sony will actually broaden their horizons and start publishing for the 360 as well.
