My second box is getting old (still has XP on it), so I pretty much use it for downloads, watching stuff when I'm raiding/WoW, movies/pic storage, and all things net-social. Lifehacker had an article about a desktop CMS called Rainmeter that seems pretty handy for something I'd like to use off to the side of my main machine.
It doesn't seem like much of a resource hog, but it's a bit of a pain to customize. Anyone else tried it?
Rainmeter, anyone use it?
