Can this be the year that the underrated and misunderstood Mets make their charge and stand true in the NL East Race? We shall see... Hottdamn, Todd Zeile for MVP so far.... if not Piazza.

BTW: WTF Happened to Jose Reyes??? Nasty Hamstringer apparently.....uh???? Seriously, time to kill the minor league trainers :P

The Mets?

You need to look a few hundred miles to the southwest to find the true suprise in baseball this year. The Cincinnati Reds! Coming off a 3 game sweep of the defending world champions (Marlins). Holders of the best record in the National League. And owners of the most wins in all of baseball. The Cincinnati Reds!

What is the over/under on games before Griffey's hamstring blows up while he is walking to the water cooler?

With Griffeys history with the Reds, I would have put the over/under at 30 games. So he has far exceeded expectations.

The Reds give up too many runs to keep on this streak.

1:1 w/ Reyes

Seriously, Jose is only 20 and he still can't get up and play? Fucking ridiculous. He has no idea what it's going to be like being 36 and shit just creaks and cracks for no other reasons besides age and wear and tear.

Mets are just a fucking pain sometimes. I still can't imagine what their record would be if they landed Vlad. Jesus, the guy is going to be the AL MVP in his prime but they couldn't pay him 15 mil per. Although, I will say, it's enjoyable watching them take the field. You got the worst arm at short and the worst arm/feet at first. It's fun watching their error totals inflate like gas prices. Shit, everytime the ball goes near 1st, you hold your breath

The Mets are a catastrophe waiting to happen. As far as Reyes, the kid has talent, but this hammy/back thing is gotta be the most bizarre thing I have seen in someone that age.

Piazza is indeed scary at first.... but hey, I have been a fan of them since the early 80's so I take the good with the bad...sometimes, really bad!

With their ERA, they could do well in getting someone in there that can actually drive in some runs.... ah well, there is still hope.
