My pick would be "Nirvana - You Know You're Right". They made it a few weeks before Kurt committed suicide. I wasn't a big fan of Nirvana then, but I sure as shit am now!
This song is filled with so much... PAIN! Heaping amounts of it. It's not in the writing. It's in the voice.

Warning! This soing is PAINFUL to listen to. Filled with anguish. I'm surprised no one saw his suicide coming with this song out there. It sounds like he's singing so as not to cry. Everytime I hear this song, it makes me at LEAST flinch
