Making T-shirts? Need help

me and my friends have recently been considering making a club called the... "Good Times Club" . We're just a bunch of friends who enjoy having a good time, getting drunk and doing random crap. we've been coming up with cool t-shirt ideas and stuff, but how hard/costly is it to make a simple graphic(im thinking just one plain color outlining a object and having "Good Times!" under it..for example, just an outline of a hand giving a thumbs up, or two seagulls humping each other =P) I'd imagine you'd just have to buy plain color tees from Hanes or somewhere - can somebody enlighten me?

Hey buddy, how's it going? I see you pulled out a little nostalgia for us with the avater. I should look for mine although I'm not sure that anyone knew who the fuck it was to begin with.
Kyoukan's was the best though
