I need a logo for my poker club. I'm ordering a set of poker chips that are gonna cost me about $800, so I want the logo to be very nice. The only requirement is that it has to fit on a poker chip, meaning 1 inch in diameter. Of course I can take any thing you create and make it smaller to fit, but that may distort the details. I've been searching on the internet and can't find anything to fit my taste, so I come to you. I haven't named my club yet so it can be virtually anything, but for poker, lions, sharks, dragons, or aggressive lookin logos are better. NO DOGS PLS.

It doesn't even have to be an animal... it can be anything. I like palaces, and castles and such or just something abstract. show me what you got and I'll buy it for $50. try to be original and creative.

What color/colors of chips are you getting?

Name three logos that you like ( for anything)

chip colors don't matter because the logo will be the same in the middle. Chip colors represent value, I use the standard vegas values.

white = $1
red = $5
green = $25
black = $100
blue = $500

I don't know if I will get any blue ones yet, or I may do as some vegas casinos and use gray or blue as the $1.

as far as what i like.. i've named a few ... dragons, lions, sharks, palaces, luck symbols. my friend made one but I suck at figuring out how to host it for u guys to see...

I'll make it my avatar for now.

Heh maybe I was not clear, logos you like as in big name ones Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, AT&T, BellSouth, Coke, Pepsi, Cincinnati Bengals etc

no. I need an original logo. as if I were to start a brand new company and need a brand new logo.

as far as wording, it really depends. I'm not gonna put chip values on there as he did, but I may put Sand's poker room or some shit like that. or something like Lion's Den, Poker Palace, or something like that. u can be as creative as you like I guess, but wording is not important, I can always add that later. I want an image first.

EDIT: I should also state that I may register and copywrite the logo once I get one. I'm thinking of starting up a poker supply/apparel company.

It could use a lot of work. Just an example of what i was thinking.

Company name been developed yet? It's all in the name.

Here's the first 2 design concepts I've screwed around with. The first one I don't like as much, but then I never like the first one I do . The second one has much more of a icon theme to it. Associating the "S" of Sand with perhaps the mint (by mint I mean like the U.S. Treasury) look of a dollar sign in our currency, along with the aces on the sides to match current chip design.

Edit: Added third design. Tried to see if any color would help, and also emphasized the "S" to be related to $ as well as Sand.







Your friend made a nice picture one, but the trouble with that is since the Sand is a real business, you could get into trouble if you ever made it big.

Rek is right... the name of your company is everything. I'll play with some names and post more when I get the chance.

Have companies buy adds that you will place on each one. Gamblers will be looking at those chips often, advertisers will want their adds on your chips!!! .

hahhah. I don't want adds on my poker chips. I don't even circulate enough people in my poker game to make any money for it. The reason I don't have a name for it yet is because I really don't have a company. My friends did this same thing but they have lost interest in it and are letting it die. Anyway, keep trying, and don't put any writing on there. I just want a symbol. I can always add writing later.

Made these prior to reading that you didn't want text, so....*shrug* Have them all in vector format for easy scaling.
