Its official. Only 4 servers will be up for the 3 day headstart. Currently, there is also a new name reserve system. Your name will be saved on that server if it is the ONLY character on there (so delete all other characters at the end of beta... or right now). The following servers will save your name: Prime(beta) = Freedom(retail), Pinnacle, Justice, and the Name Reserve server(beta) = Victory(retail). There will not be a Virtue server for the 3 day head start. So right now its important that we pick a server and stick to it...

If there is no Virtue up by then, i'd say Victory!

I have Brittney already reserverd on Victory so I say Victory, plus no way am I gunna wait 3 days to start when I got the Pre-order hehe.

But any of the 3 day head start servers will be fine by me so its all good. I will pick the 3 day head start server you all pick.

Who knows, with the way this dev team listens and reacts, they may go ahead and do something here. If not, then it kinda sucks, because the stars were definately alligning up such to have just about all of my old online communities on one server.

For now, Kablooie!'s official plan: TBD. We'll probably see what we can individually get on all the open servers and decide after.

For Victory and Power!

The Chessmaster is now reserved on Name Change (Victory).

Wirespeed is the only name I have reserved. Not sure what I'm going to do with the character yet, but likely MA/Super Reflexes Speed Demon. I didn't really know what I was doing with the one I had in beta. I expect the release version to kick much ass.

V is for Victory. However I will not be on the server till first week of May. I will be out of town.

You can only reserve one name. If you have more than one character on the name reservation server, they will randomly pick one. AFAIK, you can use this name on any (don't know about all) server, as it's specific to your account, not a server.

I almost picked up the pre-order CoH at lunch but figured I'd just buy the real game in a few days if I decide to.

I'll sidekick my way to fame and fortune if I'm a little behind when things start. I have confidence I can come up with a name that someone else doesn't have!

What I like about this game is that it appears there's no economy to ruin or anything to dupe.

Gah! Glad I checked here. I was just on the servers, too, and didnt see the new ones up.

For all the good they've done with this game, the whole server/name-reservation jazz could have gone smoother. Oh well, hopefully weeks from now no one will even remember.

Ok well... im gonna vote for Victory server, the majority of the people on vv probably dont even know that Virtue is up right now, so they dont have the opportunity to reserve their name. As for Virtue being the role playing server... it was unofficially announced as the RP server by a bunch of players, nothing was written in stone by the devs. So in maybe a few weeks, Virtue could ultimately end up as an ordinary server when everyone's RP attitude dies down and no one cares anymore. Victory!

Together we can make Victory the RP-server if we wish!

You know, I think the Big "W" attitude of most gamers here would fit in really well with RPers in a super hero game. The objective either way is to pwn the bad guys and save the world, right?

If only Rapier Wit was a power you could choose, I'd be all over that like Sally Struthers on a deep-fried twinkie (shout out to my irc homies!)

I think the big question is: Will we become a super-villain group when the City of Villians comes out?

I'm glad they're releasing City of Villains, but I doubt I'd ever seriously play a badguy.

I will have at least 1 villain for sure! Attempting to thwart Captain Wirespeeds plans every time!
