What are the stupidest thing you have done in EQ after you were no longer a newbie.

Here is an example of one of the many stupid things I have done since my newbie days:

Recently I was running to seb to go play with the frogs. I was taking the book and so I went from the field of bones to EJ, and having done this all the time I ran right off the edge of the EJ cliff to my death.

Swearing it was a fluke I ran right off the cliff to get my first corpse, and at that time I made a second corpse right next to it.

After that I decided to hop down slowly.

I had the Fabled Ghoul Assassin and Cavalere welcome me back to EQ last night...

Dups has many stories, although, he never stopped being a newb.

Let Tehom "lead" me somewhere...

Fell down the well in KC, many many times

Evacced a group out of a raid.

I think every druid/wizard has made that mistake at one time or another though...

nope, why is evac memed during a raid anyway?

Wizards/druids who hit their quick evac AAs!

I still sometimes snare myself when playing a druid thinking its SoW or SoE and not fully paying attention to the spell icon =(

I played a dwarf for the majority of my time on EQ and the single thing that I always found embarrassing was trying to get ON the boat at Freeport. I'd almost always end up in the water on the first try. Very enfuriating.

Highsunning charmed players when fighting GABs and accidentally gating the bird.
Singing DA on rage when in MT group.
Singing shadowstep song when fighting Quav.



Oh wait.. those were all on purpose.

I usually mem Gate in the same spell slot as Ferine Avatar. A few times during a fight I've been asked for FA and gated myself out of the battle.

The key is to get back w/out anyone noticing. If you experience a canni death there's always someone that notices the suicide message.

i did teh same damn thing about a week ago. but it only took one death to learn my lesson.

also, i was bound in abysmal cause i was grinding out TS. after my first death i realized how shitty it was for a non-porting class to be bound there so i went to PoT and forgot to mem bind but casted gate as if i memmed bind and well...now entering abysmal sea...

Jumped off an island in Sky only to land on a lower island

Continually cast Kazad's Mark instead of Word of REstoration. SImilar icons.

I kept that one to myself. Everyone lived so all is well.

I trusted a ranger to lead me through the ToFS like 2 weeks into Velious. She ended up leading us to EVERY fucking pit trap in the place. It was uncanny.

Fighting Koi in his pond was pretty funny.
As was trying to climb a human ass-ramp in DN.

But as for n00b-errors-one-should-know-better-than-to-make? Too many to count

I just did the CoH the anchor trick THIS week in Vex Thal.
