SAP... is pretty big at my company too. Its gettin bigger for some reason. I don't see allt he hubbub about it, but all the new accounts are pushing for new clients to take on SAP as well. I think its the flavor of the month so to speak.

S.A.P = Shit Ass Program....

Whoever markets SAP to IT firms must be a fucking genious... it was originally designed as a German warehouse and production management program.... then someone at SAP realized they could convince someone to buy it for other purposes that it wasnt intended for... I was with a company about 3 years ago that made that transition... the 12 million dollar investment in the software and related "upgrade modules" brought them to thier knees for like 4 months while the software was basically unworkable...

i blame ransure for not putting in a stop search option, i missed an * on the postal code so its taking 30000x longer (

I used SAP about 3 years ago or so and hated it with every ounce of my being....total crap. If nothing else it was wway too slow to be considered a decent program.
