Ok I wasn't smart enough to do the first one without breaking it and putting it back together. This would make me want to throw my monitor.

It works for me, the red X may be because you don't have java installed?

And the 4d is probably referring to this 3d volume of colors is representative of a 4d surface. Much like the rubics cube is a 3d object, but only involves a 2d surface.
