Some of those that come here and have known me for a while (too many to count, don't see half of ya'll's online anymore) probably remember the fact that I've been cursing out Wiji the Idjiot ever since he removed my last name about two years back now.
After reading the now re-changed naming policy, I sent in an email this weekend.. and logged in last night to find it's been restored, which is just uber, imo. More power to the contact your GM by email...

change in policy? when?
just a week ago some GMonkey took my chanter's last name
I guess someone didn't like Halley Berrey and left her with a space as surname so I can't even name her without petitioning.
It's because she's an erudite! I know it. Fucking racists!
Who did you e-mail Akaran?

So long as they don't change the name of my old halfling rogue. Those of you who know will understand. I can't state the name due to it not being my account anymore as a friend has it now.

Off topic but: Ennia, please post more. Your avatar is probably the sexiest pic of Liz Hurley I've seen.

It was when they went name nazi a while back, shortly before Brad left, I think. They decided to make it a retroactive change - anything with De and a recognizeable word was automatically assumed to be meant as "The" and "Word" as a title. Pretty anal. Was with the threat of "if you have it you can be banned or suspended if we feel like it", real cheerful there.
Getting Innorruk back will probably take more bullshit than even I can come up with.. and Trains Gallore I think is still a violation.
Here's the link to the naming policies..

they should revise this policy, there's still something in there about "first name may never be changed unless it violates the policy". It should read "... unless you pay 50 bucks" lol
so who did you pay errr.... e-mail Akaran? "email your GM" thingy? or you had someone's direct e-mail addy?
Aranuil: copy/paste! or save as...

I like that picture too

LOL that is hilarious... I saw Vaginaman once and thought it was quite humorous.. as well as Thongsong.
The best time to get names through the filter is early in the morning... when no guides are on.. You dont usually have to worry about an ACTUAL GM being on though, since they are nowhere to be found at ANY time.

A few months ago in the CT sewers, someone named "Lickmyanalcrack" wandered down to us. Conned green and was anon. We assumed it was one of Eudas' many characters coming to distract us because he wanted to take over our spot.
