Anyone able to recomend a good collection of classical guitar? What artist (s) or time period to look for. To give an idea of what type: you all remember that part in the movie cross roads when Ralph Machio was playing for his teacher in Jouliard (sp?) just before he breaks out into the blues rifts?..ya that one.

Classical Spanish Guitar is amazing. Los Lobos have a few really really well done songs in that genre. I only have a few classical guitar works in my collection.. most of them are covers or symphonys done in guitar work.

John Williams?
The guy singlehandedly responsible for probably 8 out of the 10 greatest film scores of all times. Also responsible for the Olympic theme?
Or are we talking about different John Williamseses?

Yeah, the guitar playing John Williams is different than the score writing John Williams. They are both great though

. I have a couple of the guitar playing John Williams CDs, good stuff.
