I would send amazon.com an email asking if they really are associated with them.

Spend the extra cash and buy it from a trusted retailer.

They show a picture of a box that says they're associated with Amazon...but they don't provide a link to Amazon...which makes me believe they aren't. Not to mention it's hosted on Freewebs.com and their email address is @usa.com

I'd bet my cheese and crackers it's a scam.

My question to you is...why not just go buy one from a store?

Cheapasses who don't understand the cardinal rule to shopping deserve to be ripped off because for a fleeting moment, before they realize they've been had, they really believe they pulled one over on the seller.

Go to Gamestop or your local FuncoLand and buy a used one for $139.99 (the used one comes with a 90 day warranty) or tell him to wait until the begining of May after E3 is over with. The prices are more than likely going to drop afterwards on the PS2 and the X-Box.

BTW if they are selling the system brand new for that price they are scamming. The only way they can carry it as a licensed product is to keep it at the full value or they lose the rights to distribute the system if they are a dealer.

Any company who cant afford anything out of a public mailservice is likely to be a scam :P
